COVID-19 Resources

Even before COVID-19, about 11 percent of U.S. households were considered food insecure, meaning they didn’t have consistent access to sufficient food.  Nearly one in five New Yorkers relies on Food Bank for NYC for food and other resources.

COVID-19 will increase this proportion, for reasons including lost income and food price rises resulting from stockpiling and supply chain interruptions.

THIS IS A TIME WHEN WE NEED TO HELP MAKE SURE THAT ALL NEW YORKERS HAVE ACCESS TO SUFFICIENT FOOD.

Please review this large list of Resources HERE.  This is the resource list discussed during our Webinar.

Below is a list of local resources that you can take advantage of.  NOTE: SNAP Online Purchasing began April 2019 in the State of New York - meaning you can now use SNAP benefits with Amazon, ShopRite and Walmart.
